I think glossing over people’s mistakes or flaws is a terrible error. We put people like Jobs, the Founding Fathers or athletes on pedestals and refuse to acknowledge their flaws, the things that make them like the rest of us. They become superhuman and something to look up to, but it robs them of their own humanity

Yeah I hope they let that one go.....

that’s why you should wear shoulder armor on both sides.

As someone who has always been on the fringes of DB fandom I never knew why people hated Dragon Ball GT.

I’ve been whispering “ARRIGHT” to my co-workers for the last half-hour. Thanks!

That sound Jarek makes when running off the cliff...amazing. I do need a new ringtone...

But where is the button that makes blueberry muffins?

People of all ages and maturities swear. Get over yourself.

I love where they're going with it so far. Many things need a lot of work before this gets released - it looks like a last-gen game right now, the audio mixing is super weird and much of the VO sounded rushed and "placeholder." The camera is the toughest enemy in the game so far. On the other hand, it FEELS great,

It's nice to see good reasons given as to why you didn't enjoy it as apose to the normal "whaa Tatsumi died I don't like it, worst anime ever" or somthing along those lines.

The problem with that is we would be watching a show in which assassins take part in One Piece like fights in which characters sustain damage but overcome the bullets to the chest or poisoning and win, or at least fight another day. This just would not make sense.

So just because characters in a fantasy anime setting are mortal that leaves no room for that kind of stuff? It's not like they ever tell you in the show that it's impossible, that's not a lack of consistency IMO, just something you're trying to apply the rules of our own world to.

I feel like people want and try to take this show too seriously, which is why I see so many complaints about shifting tones. That, and maybe some viewers just can't as easily grasp the fact that something dramatic has happened and move on from it.

As for the suspension in disbelief, why does it have to have such strict

You are just thinking about it a little bit too much.
