I think the biggest indicator of how the switch is doing (to me, at least) is that my parents REALLY want one, and are saving up for it. Your point wasn’t whether or not it was annoying, rather that actual natives of DC don’t use the term. Which is false. I mean considering that the go go song (regardless of your feelings on gogo) “Welcome to DC” features the term, I’d say that “DMV” is a solid concept here. I really wish games and game saves were tied to accounts. I don’t think Nintendo accounted for people who may have more than one switch in the household. It would be nice to dock mines in my room and pick up where I started with another switch in the living room, for example.
