Yes, that’s what two paragraphs of the article detail.

But that means I'm having to engage with my TV every 5 minutes to skip an ad, which is extremely annoying if I have a video on in the background while I'm doing other things.

Maybe don't flood me with ads that require user interaction to skip (a 5 min ad??) when I watch shorter videos. I spend more time fighting ads than watching my content.

Ah, I remember trying to launch my own Team Fortress server back in the day. Not TF2, not Team Fortress “Classic”, just Team Fortress.

From what I’ve read some people spend $100+ a month on cheats for a single game. I always see it as rich kids with mommy’s credit card that want to regain some sense of self-esteem by stomping the “poors”.

Speaking of video ads, I hate the video banners on mobile on Gizmodo. Yeah, they autoplay on mute, but it still overrides any music that’s playing and stops my playlist while on android.

How is the show? I played through the game 2x and haven't picked this one up yet.

At least they're encouraging newer generations to pirate shows.

ChatGPT is cool and all, but I still see it as a toy. People not understanding how it's training takes place and when specialized training is needed is going to lead to tons more issues.

I don't understand the snark. No matter how much you don't agree with or dislike a person, wishing death and harm is a low blow. Guess that's what happens when you're anonymous on the internet.

But as the article says, in times like in recent years where everyone needs one they may be unavailable. Or you may be in a location where you don't have easy access to one. An example I can think of is camping hours away from a city and realizing you don't have one on you.

Wonder if they account for the phone producing heat at all. A background process starting halfway through a reading could impact results, but maybe monitoring CPU load could adjust results or flag for a retest.

This is an experiment for future development, not a live app.
