As much as I don't like Elon, we should all be sure to stay objective. They aren't useless, and basing that statement on pure emotion goes contrary to discussions on a science and technology forum.

Eh, it's not new. I had an app I used about 6-7 years ago that did the same thing. 

Isn't this just... standard business security practice? I never enter any work data onto systems that aren't our own, it's just common sense. 

No, it was a firm that worked hard to rise to the occasion. I'm sure they had to run names up and down the flagpole a few times, but they eventually found a name that stood on its own.
