I hated the book then, and I hate the book now. One of only two books in my life that I have literally thrown across my room when finished. Outside of the first 40 or so pages that attempts to do a little world building, the rest is a collection of lists of pop culture that has absolutely nothing to say about pop

Which binge watching has pretty much ended. We no longer have long speculations and discussions over shows like we used to, instead it’s mainly mass consumption and immediate reactions. I would be surprised if people remember or even care about binge shows years from now the way people do with older serialized

My guess is to show the extreme degradation to his body from having lived in essentially a life support system for most of his life. After seeing him as this imposing and terrifying presence throughout the movies, it makes his reveal all the more pitiful. Exaggeration are part and parcel for theatrics.

What a piece of trash.

I don’t love or hate him, though if allegations end up being true, then I have no issue with moving on from his work to creators I have little to no issue with. As for him being an asshole husband, that just makes him an asshole. On the one hand there are far too many people ready to cast stones over an allegation,

Yeah, as much as I like people trying unusual and strange game aesthetics, my first reaction after seeing screenshot of this game was that it will likely give me an ocular migraine. It’s like how games that use weird blurring effects to simulate drug use or hallucinations only succeed in making my eyes hurt. Not a fan.

Give it another read. I gleamed far more from it when middle-aged than I would have while still a teenager. Many books read in high school tend to be this way, because they’re really not meant for teenagers but adults.

One could argue it’s about how rich people not only make the messes, but also how people from poor working classes/backgrounds end up being the

Come now, for people who challenge themselves and continue to grow, experience is a great tool for intellectual growth. Not everyone tries to grow as they age, but for those who do, their knowledge is invaluable.

I think the main problem here is it’s not a single conversation that needs addressing, but several: Exploitation vs. art, can an actor do roles about people with a disability, and if so, where is the line drawn?, and Sia needs to realize that her own inability to question her own art is troubling. I cannot answer all

God, I miss playing and making maps for that game.

My sentiments as well. I saw the headline, and my instant thought was, “Fuck you, 2020.”

Hubris and greed have finally caught up with Konami.

Nolan’s an empty stylist, and this need of his for Tenet to be seen in theaters during Covid-19 speaks volumes for his ego. The guy sucks and his movies suck.

Follow your moral compass. In the long run you’ll feel better about yourself than having been knowingly complacent to the exploitation of others. Sure, it looks like a fun game, but if you’re conscience is in turmoil, maybe give it pass.

See if you can do an in-person tour and return with pictures!

Oh, they’ve left the house. In packages.

It’s too late. You are now cursed to roam a 3D house tour in search of a blue bathtub within an ever-expanding labyrinthine home of unopened Girls Gone Wild DVDs and oddly placed toilets!

Sometimes, during these difficult times, like a bowel movement, one needs a hand to hold for comfort.

Granted, the previous Alien game was a dumpster fire for the ages, so who can really blame them for having a knee jerk reaction?
