He's just a pawn for Big Dental Floss anyways

My earliest memory is probably of my R2-D2 toy. I've been watching the originals on Laserdisc with my 4 year old - she isn't really into it but she's humoring me. She's convinced all the robots, in the movie or otherwise are somehow related to either R2-D2 or C3PO so she's trying to map out their family structure.

That's too bad. It's beyond easy to cash Bitcoin out and has been so for at least the last 3 years.

Yeah, I'd feel better about it if there were some successful real world applications. The DAO didn't go so well. Have you looked at Aragon?

The point they were trying to make is that while all of these Bitcoins might be worth 72 million on paper, you'd never be able to turn it that much actual cash. That's just not true. People don't seem to realize how huge bitcoin is now.

0.2% overnight maybe, but we're talking about over the course of several weeks. And this guy is claiming it would cause such a drop that 72 million dollars worth of Bitcoin would suddenly only be worth 1 million? Some people are just desperate to not take Bitcoin seriously.

People buy and sell a billion dollars of Bitcoin a day and you think someone selling 72 million over the course of several weeks would drive the price so low that he'd only get a million dollars out? Ok

There's 38 billion dollars invested in Bitcoin. Withdrawing 72 million of that over the course of a few weeks would not make a dent in the value.

One billion dollars in Bitcoin is traded every 24 hours. 72 mil over the course of a few weeks is nothing.

The maximum you can withdraw in one day is 50k so you'd have to do it over the course of a few weeks. They have 4 million customers worldwide.

You can easily use a site like coinbase to sell bitcoins for cash and it deposits it right in your bank account or PayPal.

I have a little in decred but damn if Ether hasn't had a good couple of weeks.

I bet some former employee of papa john's read this article and suddenly remembered he still has those coins on an old laptop somewhere.

The market cap for Bitcoin is 38 billion dollars. A few million bucks is nothing

So when Bitcoin was worth, say, $800 a coin it wasn't actually worth something? This article is stupid.

I never did care much for them or understand why people were so obsessed with them. I remember when Jerry Garcia died kids at school were more upset than when Kurt Cobain died. Lots of crying hippies
