No, knocking women out is not what feminism is all about.

More research on the effects of male-fist-to-female-face collision are needed. -Roger Goodell

Shocking, isn't it? I must have been distracted by being called out in front of 100 people.

I can't believe that this wasn't the first thing you told me when we met IRL.

She touched me. Physically, right on my arm. Emotionally, right in my heart.

I HAVE A THING ON THAT TUMBLR TOO AND IT'S ONE OF THE THINGS RBG MENTIONS IN THIS INTERVIEW AND I. AM. DYINGGGGGGGGGGG.

She also called out the male Justices as having a blind spot on women's issues. She is a national treasure and I hope she lives forever.

I HAVE A GIF THAT MADE IT ONTO THAT TUMBLR

Ice cream IS "yummmm, chemicals" because yes, milk and every other ingredient in icecream is a chemical. Water is a chemical. Lemon juice is a chemical. Chemicals make up EVERYTHING. Chemicals are delicious. Some can be sour. Many are good for you while others are bad. Quit with the "OMG chemicals R Bad!!" already

1) I am black. There's a picture of me right there.

Holler at Godfather 2, "they're my children too."

I still feel like I do not one hundred percent get "My Father's Mask," but I am fascinated by it just the same (possibly that WHAT THE FUCK feeling is what makes it work for me). "Best New Horror" was surprisingly disturbing. I was also pretty creeped by "Abraham's Boys," it's such a simple twist on the subject matter

I'm so glad to now have a new writer to discover. I just saw the trailer for this movie today, and I was like — that actually looks interesting.

I'm not big into horror. In fact, the only Horror that I like are Simon Pegg's Three Flavors Cornetto series.

Agree. Dirt bag & tweet beat are awesome but I can't deal with all of the other celeb stories. Especially with defamer being around. Just put those there.

I forgot about Crappy Hour. Crappy Hour was great!

20th century ghosts? What a fantastic collection of short stories.

I'd also like to see more posts about books. io9 does a great one every month with new SFF books. I'd like to see one on Jez every month that are themed i.e. Female authors (or whatever). A lot of us read and read a lot. It would be nice to have less Kardashian and more, well, anything really.
