That’s a stupid waste of money. I’ll go punch Elon Musk for free.
I really hope that Doctor Who has a presence this year, because if the rumors are true, there might be some truly huge news for classic series fans coming down the pipeline. (Though they may also keep it under their hats until the next BFI event)
They never did explain how she got back to Earth from Iceworld the Nosferatu 2 in the future, but yeah... Big Finish did a lot to redeem the character, mostly by having her not constantly screaming or making weird nonsensical exclamations like “megabyte modem!” so I’m interested in seeing where they go with this.…
I really hope Italian Spiderman somehow makes it in, even as a background character.
Just one crowd shot where there’s shlubby 70's porn star looking guy in a red sweater eating a taco. Is that too much to ask?
I agree, ‘Unification III’ should be even lower on the list, since even Discovery’s trial episodes can’t resist fawning all over Burnham like she’s some magical sparkly Twilight vampire. It hardly even counts as a trial episode... more like “having to waste your afternoon at the DMV trying to get your car registered.”…
I love how Mark Proksch has basically been playing Colin Robinson his entire life, he just didn’t know it at the time.
I would much rather see Planetary over Authority, but it would be tentatively interested in seeing an Authority movie if they set it up correctly, and based it off the Warren Ellis or Grant Morrison runs rather than Mark Miller.
The biggest problems with the Authority are that they’re essentially just a more fucked up…
It is going to be a rough month and a half waiting for this to come out... and then a bleak and miserable future when faced with the realization that it’s finally over.
If anybody can accomplish the impossible task of tying off all the loose plot threads and giving everybody’s favorite supporting character a final…
Doc’s latest invention will either bankrupt Team Venture or launch them to new heights, as Hank searches for himself, Dean searches for Hank, the Monarch searches for answers, and a mysterious woman from their pasts threatens to bring the entire world crashing down on them.
According to Gaiman, this season is less of the proposed sequel that he and Pratchett worked on together, and more of a bridge that gets them from Good Omens to the opening pages of that sequel, which will hopefully become season 3... assuming season 2 does well enough in the ratings.
That’s not to say this season is…
You should check out The Timekeepers of Eternity, which is a fan cut that takes all the original footage and condenses it down into a surreal art film.
The Black Cauldron was based (extremely loosely) on bit and pieces from the first two books from Lloyd Alexander’s Chronicles of Prydain series, which is absolutely awesome and very similar to Terry Pratchett, not they you’d know it by watching the Disney version.
They should absolutely ignore the animated movie and go…
Nitpicking historical inaccuracies in films is probably one of the *least* obnoxious things you can do on Twitter.
I have to agree with the poor dude that his comments have been blown way out of proportion. He’s a diversity advocate who pointed out that the movie (admittedly a kid’s fantasy musical) doesn’t portray an…
If we’re including talkshow comedies, you have to save a place of honor for Man to Man with Dean Learner, which was a semi-sequel to Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace, where Richard Ayoade’s Dean Learner character hosted a sleezy late night chat show where all the guest characters are played by Matthew Holness.
Aren’t they just ‘Max’ now, or is that just the name of the streaming platform (that no longer has any content?)
Too bad they cancelled most of their good stuff a few months before the strike, so they were already in a creative dearth and probably limping along in terms of new content anyways. Double nothing is always…
