Damn. Another one I can't make it to. Maybe I'll have better luck in 2013.

Tangentally, I just got through watching the recently recovered William Hartnell episode Airlock from the story Galaxy Four last night, and it's an unbelievably warm and fuzzy feeling experiencing classic Who for the very first time.

I agree 100%, and experienced a very similar childhood.

As bad as many of TOS's costumes were though, I think Blake's 7 narrowly edges them out in terms of sheer lunacy and hideousness.

Ted Cassidy's padded purple grandma housecoat from What Are Little Girls Made Of? deserves more love. (because nothing says unstoppable killer android like lavender)

I much prefer the various Doctor Who ones which are now floating around the internets.

I agree. They should just color code them like the Moon Zero Two spacesuits or Lego men.

YES! YES! YES! Christmas has come early!

Please tell me we're still getting the GLCS for wearing inside the space capsule. I love the idea of skintight catsuits actually having a legitimate scientific purpose.

Damn. Between this and the CERN zombie movie, I think I went into the wrong profession.

Okay, so it's decided then. We consult Holly.

I already named my latest PC "sexy," but couldn't quite work up the nerve to paint it TARDIS blue and stick a light on top. The vinyl Seal of Rassilon sticker I bought off Amazon will have to do.

Ian McKellen of X-Men and Lord of the Rings fame will reportedly be voicing the evil Snowmen in the Christmas special, which is appropriately named "The Snowmen."

#2 on this list absolutely floors me, because everybody who claims that biological systems are too complex to have evolved, and that you never see an animal with half an eye/ear/heart/lung/etc. has obviously never... you know... actually looked.

Sadly, most creationist beliefs are both founded and reinforced through ignorance.
