He still does sketches, just not often. To be fair, he probably needs the more regular unboxing/snack videos to get enough ad revenue to survive in between sketch videos. I don’t hold it against him.

This guy and Jellopocalypse are some of the most passionate and knowledgable “indie” VAs out there. These are people I would gladly have a beer with and I don’t drink.

Nice one, Archibald.

I think that interviewer got... the point!

Social media is a convenient excuse for someone to get fired. The company gets to duck paying unemployment because the employee was “fired for cause”, while the employee has no recourse and people generally tend to think “well, you shouldn’t be posting things on social media.”

Responding to hecklers is a regular part of what comedians do, so I don’t have a problem with that.

Hi Che! Are we going to see this as a bit on Weekend Update now?

Neil Gaiman’s “George R. R. Martin is not your bitch” is the only useful celebrity thought on criticism I can think of and even that’s not a slam dunk.

Do you... Do you think that... “LOL DOGFUCKER” is criticism?

From the Allison article:

Che is such an insecure little baby. Comedians love to play tough guys who tell it like it is but always lose it at the smallest amount of criticism.

Errr... A bunch of his stories are very clearly, very obviously extremely explicitly racist. Like, you seriously couldn’t miss it if you are even somewhat level-headed. Black people described as little more than beasts who are brutishly ugly in appearance and only marginally intelligent, and so on. He had similar

One thing that I’ve learned to acknowledge these past few years is that idiots get pissy if you have facts and share them publicly.

...I don’t understand. What are people complaining about, that Evil Hat wrote the factual fact that Lovecraft was factually racist?

I don’t think you get the full picture - this isn’t ‘people were more racist back then’, his wife left him because he was too racist to live with. His contemporaries, even his friends, complained in their letters that he’s a bit much. Imagine how racist you must be to be ‘a bit much’ for 1920?

Excellent use of Atomic Robo.

i remember in a compilation there was a forward written by neil gaimen that mentioned that as well. In his writings you can write it off a bit as the character being a classical anglophile who’s sense of superiority is upended by seeing the true nature of the world where cultists from the “lesser” peoples understood

I like a lot of lovecraft stuff and once you actually read it, it becomes VERY apparent, haha. In his youth he was basically the biggest wimp in all the land. So he was scared of everything, especially other cultures coming to change his way life by force.

Though, I will say it doesn’t take away from some of the more
