Many folks don't need a full-blown Windows machine. All they do is email, YouTube, Facebook, maybe some writing or spreadsheet work, the occasional presentation, etc. And the games they play are stuff like Zynga or PopCap games, which have web versions. For those folks, a tablet or ChromeOS notebook would do

Completely wrong.

Voltron had some hilarious overdubs meant to keep them out of trouble by claiming EVERY evil footsoldier or spaceship that got destroyed (and for that matter, all of the good guy ships too, esp. in Vehicle Voltron) was a robot or otherwise unmanned.

You've not wasted time until you've looked at TV Tropes.

And for me it's the most terrifying. Fullscreen only, single tasking oriented environment is great for mobile devices where your screen space is very limited but that's about it. We moved beyond that kind of environment with windows and high resolution displays, I sure as hell don't want to go back to jumping between

It was appropriate. There's a fanfic called "Cupcakes" which... well... don't read it unless you're a fan of Clive Barker and/or the Saw movies.

The old extension still used that information. It's just that Chrome now makes it more explicit what you're giving permission for, now. The "new" permissions aren't actually new, it's just reported more clearly to you.

The "Prime" timeline is currently being continued in Star Trek Online. It takes place 30 years after Nemesis, and Spock has disappeared after the Red Matter incident. The Klingon Empire has resumed its expansionist ways and is at war with the Federation.

This is what Rules/Filters are for. Create your "search" and have the app move all your results into a properly labelled folder. Any new incoming mail goes straight to that folder. I use Gmail's Labels for the same thing.

Yeah, Blastwave did it first (and very well).

Americans are prudes regarding anything sexual, especially nudity. It'll take us a few more generations before girls can go topless in public, IMO.

I'm guessing you did not RTFA.

Is it correct that AIM users don't see you online while logged into GTalk? That's a bit of a problem. Still, it would help me ditch multi-user clients, since everyone I talk to is on AIM or GTalk.

Well, they are based on the same ship design from the actual show & films...

... "saving the memory?" What system are you running where having multiple tabs open is so detrimental to your RAM usage?
