Totally got you- great comment and explanation. I was adding another difference that I noticed but apologize if I detracted from you point. I was just saying that sometimes who I like locally is of a different party than who I like for prime minister. That is one thing that is (maybe?) nice about the US system.

I was just seeking clarification between pro abstinence and abstinence only. The terminology confused me. Thanks!

NOT pro-abstinence education. De-funded it.

K. Drink lots of water and see you in the morning.

The ratings pertain only to senate votes. Presumably he didn’t vote for any of the things you mentioned while serving as a senator.

I care if anybody is pro-life.

Yeah, no. He only changed that opinion recently, probably to advance his personal ambitions. He should at least be honest, He would be second in line to appoint judges if (God forbid) something happened to Hillary. If Hillary Clinton was at all concerned with long term reproductive rights and not her short term power

An anti-abortion candidate will never get my vote.

White pro life guy. So woke. So intersectional.

I like to hide my boobs once in a while, mostly all the time.

Not gonna lie. It's my favorite dress. I don't care if it's flattering enough, because I feel like I'm wearing pajamas at work, and that is a great feeling.

All the stars! I am a natural hourglass (not skinny though) and I prefer that people pay attention to my achievements at work, not my boob-waist ratio. These types of dresses and sack dresses are my entire work wardrobe for this very reason and these are seen as chic where I live so it's all good.

Omg yes. I actually kind of like looking “frumpy” for those same reasons, I just feel like I can blend in more and not be noticed and they’re far more comfortable to boot.

Sometimes it’s a transgressive thrill to wear clothes that are actively unflattering. The idea we, as women, are supposed to want to look appealing under all circumstances is so ... just taken for granted. Especially if you’re usually read as conventionally attractive, it feels kind of amazing to go “fuck you, I’m

I love how you feel more than comfortable making fun of how women look by some of the words you use in this... yet are the first to criticize other people for “shaming” when others do this.

“So what, exactly, is flattering about this? .... no one, from any distance, could accurately guess your boob size?”

I don’t need people to guess my boob size or be able to gage how much Rockstar-related bloat I’m smuggling.

I see these around from time to time and find them aggressively ugly. But the silver lining, and the reason I don’t run up to people and cinch them with a belt or something, is that at least they are clearly not designed for or trying to appeal to the male gaze. But that’s about all they’ve got going for them.

You can pry my black boxy linen dress from my cold dead hands. It’s the only thing that’s keeping me sane while walking to work in 90-degree heat.

why do my clothes have to be “flattering?”
