I disagree, bbm is as close to 100% reliable as you can get. It's also free, and worldwide. Where android and ios' messaging apps are still pretty clunky.

look beyond north america and RIM is fine. they need a lot of catching up to do to be fine in north america however.

ever since the stolen iphone thing, and gizmodo's banishment from apple, it's like you're going the extra mile to suck up to apple by bashing the competition.

ok, fair. but maybe if gizmodo paid more attention to the playbook and other devices (they're pretty pro-apple...) readers would be made more aware of how solidly built the playbook is and maybe it would help sales. it's a bit chicken and the egg.

Wow, I touched a nerve. To all those calling for Rims demise, the world is bigger than North America, the blackberry sells quite well still, and btw, there is room for more than one horse in this race. Do you all want RIM to fail just so we are left with 2, maybe 3 choices?

Again, no mention of the Blackberry Playbook, which with 2.0 you can sideload Android apps. I bought the 64gb model for 200 bucks. It's powerful, and the screen is beautiful.

Awwe, you're going to be missed. I hope you come back and hang out in the comments section once and a while.

zombies don't run!

Yay! Good to see it back and operating at full capacity (or at least what looks like full capacity)... And oh how I've missed the comments section!

Wow. Really? Because it's just about web surfing, reading and watching the occasional movie?

playbook!

oh my god, that's beautiful.

you don't think if marvel had x-men, ff and spidey they'd drop gardians of the galaxy and captain america 2?

i meant in OUR best interest... as fans. one the one hand it's exciting that millar's taking the helm, on the other, a single marvel movie-verse is now even farther away.

Cool! Although, wait... Wouldn't it be in everyone's best interest if the rights to FF and X-Men reverted back to Marvel, like Daredevil?

I loved this movie. Man, I'd give anything for a sequel.

I thought it was cute.

so i can go ahead and eat this pie for dinner then.

I'll echo the sentiments that the 2D limited release really hurt this film. I live near a huge multiplex, of which there are several in the city, and none of them showed Dredd in 2D. I had to drive out of town to see it (I can't watch 3D movies, they make me sick)...

I really enjoyed it, thin plot and all. It felt like a really cozy episode...
