Well, to all those complaining about the quality ... you get what you pay for.
You must be a hoot to have at parties.
So are you saying that Jalopnik should NOT write about a brand new car’s roof flying off, or are you saying they shouldn’t ask the manufacturer for a comment?
Found the person who got so upset he didn’t read the rest of the guy’s comment!
The whole “we’ve reached out to [blank] but have not received a comment” is pretty standard for...everywhere, though. It happened to me here. It happens to me elsewhere. I’ve seen it at other outlets as well. It’s a cover-your-butt statement of “yes, we did the right thing and reached out to get the other side’s…
Probably because you see writers that used to be commonplace at Jalopnik 5-10 years ago.
I never got the hate for the Crosstour. It’s an Accord wagon with nice lines and a bit of a lift. It is probably comfy, useful, reliable, and reasonably priced. The first time I saw one, I thought it looked a hell of a lot nicer than most of the stuff in its market segment, plus hey, it’s a wagon! What the hell is…
HOLY CRAP, I actually knew something about fixing cars that David Tracy didn’t know. I shall cherish this moment forever.
Machine Gun Kelly. What sort of candy-assed poseur comes up with a name like that?
LOL, this has to be the worst “review” I’ve read on this site. This reads like someone who knows a lot about cars asking car questions to someone who has no idea about cars but who wrote down a lot of notes during a presentation and used all the press materials for reference. And that’s exactly what happened isn’t it?…
A Model 3 does not weigh less. The TLX is the size of a 5 Series for LESS than the price of a 3 Series while coming better equipped and being more reliable to boot.
Andrew writes good reviews; Jalopnik should have just had him do it (not sure if COVID limitations was the cause of this approach)
An interview about a test-drive? Huh, interesting. I guess if it’s basically the same thing as the reviewer writing it up the message gets through fine. Still, not sure I’m in love with it.
It’s terrible. It’s hard to read and feels phony. And lazy.
Excited to see Acura finally righting the ship! This car is a looker and glad it delivers in other important ways too. I will look forward to considering a pre-owned one in 5+ years! Although by then I’ll also probably be considering electric vehicles...
Made my brain hurt imo.
This is a detail I love, a clear specific space for a phone (most cars are still doing too-small cubbies underneath the dash controls) and a palm rest since they did away with a shifter.
“All those people that drive RAV-4s are boring and have no style!”-Dudes who’s wardrobe is exclusively cargo shorts, printed novelty t-shirts and New Balance tennis shoes.
Its fine if you want to call it an appliance, but its the BEST appliance in a sea of appliances, and being a car...and me being interested in car culture...I think it’s worth exploring why that is.
