I’m a UCLA grad with a 10 year old daughter who’s an aspiring gymnast (casual fun kind, not the go live with your coach in another state kind). I loved it when it first came out and thought it was The Greatest. Now that I’m older and wiser I can take a necessary critical eye to it, but for me Joanna’s potato chip metaphor holds true. Something likeable still endures in it for me (I know, I’m sorry), and it can still be entertaining.
