Since getting my stimulus check I’ve been ordering out more (plus the thought of waiting in line to get into the grocery store bums me out). Each order has the same process: I bring up Door Dash or Grub Hub, I scroll though and find what I want, then I get to the screen with all the added charges and fees (which are

THEY TOOK OUT THE APOSTROPHE. PURPOSELY. WITHOUT SHAME.

That does look good, but what I’ve been doing lately is making banana bread with 100% whole wheat flour and for sweetener just 1/2 cup of genuine maple syrup. It’s the least sweet banana bread I’ve ever had but it’s ridiculously delicious in a whole different way. This most recent batch I added 1/2 cup of semi-crushed

Would pair perfectly with a strong cup of coffee an a shot of insulin.

Eh, I’m ambivalent about a tv show. But they’d better open up The Lost Apple Cidery.

Except that’s not where your fuck yous are going.

Man, I was alllll set to thoroughly agree with every word you said, and then you went and snuck these flamin’-hot takes in there:

It sounds like you’re more of a superfan than most of us.

Yeah, how dare people not wallow in the unrelenting spectre of death at all times and have the gall to think about things that are not the frailty of our mortality?

Mister Abrams, don’t you have a studio to run?

That sucks, but it’s completely unrelated to the topic at hand and you should feel ashamed for using something like that as a weapon in an unrelated internet argument.

Unlike the others, she got a relatively coherent and satisfying arc. Coherent by the low standards of RoS, but still better than the nothingburgers Finn and Poe got. Or the absolute mess of Ben Solo’s story in that film, who showed promise of being a complex villain in the previous two, only to go on a Force Ayahuasca

The problem with the new trilogy is that each film is a craven apology for the preceding installment. Rather than desperately trying to course correct midflight, they should have sat down and sketched out a three-film epilogue to the story told in the six previous movies (because even the prequels, god help them,

I haven’t seen TLJ or TROS (though I’m pretty sure I know which one I’d prefer), but surely everyone can agree that the management of these films has been absolutely baffling.

There’s a very contrarian bent when it comes to Star Wars in certain places, especially here.

Star Wars films can never be accused of being great art, but they shouldn’t be boring. TLJ was dull as hell.

It is a bummer that the cast had to be buffeted around by such stupefying circumstances. Even when I was disappointed by how much TFA was a retread of ANH, the new generation of characters were so good, I remained enthusiastic for the rest of the trilogy. For myself, TLJ actually took advantage of that cast and did

Hell, The Last Jedi was one of the best things to happen to this series in decades and people are still arguing about how it was actually bad.

Wait a minute I’ve got it.
