Granted the Falcon is one of the most played ships in the current tourney meta. That being said, it isn't unbeatable/broken, seeing as the finals of the GenCon tourney saw a TIE Phantom/TIE Interceptor/Lambda shuttle list beat a dual Falcon list to win the whole thing.
