You completely missed the only good point you could have made about this rule change: teams that want to take advantage of this in the way that your Barca would have liked with Coutinho this year are now going to shell out even more.

Depends on the odds-maker ( some have RM or City as favorites ), but Barcelona certainly have no right to feel aggrieved about this. The rule exists in the first place to prevent the likes of Barcelona, Real, Bayern and other rich clubs from gutting their CL opposition in January.

Barca is so screwed by this rule that they are...*checks notes*...the favorites to win the tournament.

Poor Barcelona, they’d have to do with Messi, Suarez, Busquets, Pique and Iniesta. Unlike Liverpool, their chances are intact without Coutinho.

the other issue in addition to this is what looks like an over-reliance on the system—it’s not just that he car itself wasn’t sufficient, it was that the person was putting more trust in it than it deserved, something we’re seeing time and time again with this tech.

How neat is that?!? You can tell it’s an Aspen tree because of the way it is!

#facepalm that’s a reasonable approach. Though still seems like good info to just include in the article. It’s in beta on android and simply called iNaturalist, not SEEK

Neat! Is there an Android equivalent that you’re aware of? PlantNet works pretty well for the flora, but I don’t know of anything else.

I would hope I don’t have to rebuild any transmission before the 200k mark...

Call me ungrateful, but why can’t this just be an app on Google Play? Why does something bound to be so popular have to involve multiple steps and technical detail? Talk about your barriers to entry. Only developers and IT professionals are allowed to have decent adblocking on their phone?

I believe you’re in the wrong neighborhood.

Stoke City can’t sign Sergio Aguero or Eden Hazard the same way that Virginia isn’t able to compete with Kentucky/Kansas/Duke for recruits. Hard to fault them for that

...tries to take the air out of the ball...

so if a self-driving car breaks the law and runs a red light ... and kill someone... doesn’t that fit under that?

Why not just have them declared as firearms, no consumer lawsuits allowed

Maybe tomorrow we’ll find out that the only guy in ZZ Top without a beard is named Frank Beard.

I thought Michael thought this himself.

OH MY GOD, THIS THEORY HAS BEEN FLOATING AROUND FOR YEARS. WHY NOW?

Umm, excuse me:

He was using a scale to illustrate what you must have missed with the smaller sizes. $200 for 118GB is expensive. It’s also sacrificing versatility at that size. Anything under 256GB is really going to be limiting most people for an everyday device.
