I don’t know how you can call GoW a singleplayer focused game considering the co-op campaigns, Horde modes, and PvP. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding your point?

I think you need at least one friend to play GTA:O with for it to be fun unless you have specific goals in mind that you can work to achieve such as higher ranks or better vehicles. I can enjoy the game solo for a while if I’m working towards saving up for a new ride I saw online or something.

Still, if you’re able to blow up an attacker’s Kuruma, the game still punishes you for it. Then, in my experience, the guy usually calls the car back in and continues his pursuit on your dime. That is bullshit.

Armored Kurumas are the bane of GTA Online. It’s legal (in the eyes of Rockstar) cheating. Why on earth they thought it was a good idea to give people nearly 100% bullet proof cars is beyond me.

I made a game with Unity in college for my senior project. It was terrible but it was still an enormous amount of work. I’d say this is a pretty likely explanation. Watching the trailer immediately reminded me of the game I made by myself with very little experience.
