I’d try to guess what team you’re loyal to but the Flyers have too many enemies. Help me out here.

It’s possible to talk hockey without being a prick. You should try it sometime.

I really don’t know why you’re so upset. Regardless of the outcome of game 5 – a single game you keep bringing up as the crux of your argument – he’s still a hall of fame hockey player and he wasn’t “Byfuglien’s bitch” in that series. Are you 14 years old?

So I present a few counterpoints and I might as well be sucking cock. Okay.

Yeah, Giguere was fantastic. There’s your proof that you still need a hot goalie. I always tell people that’s the reason the Flyers still came up short. I’ll also never get tired of the way Jim Hughson says his name.

I don’t think I’d say that. He was playing a ton of minutes, and he was obviously going to be matched up against their best lines as much as possible. He certainly gave Byfuglien more trouble than any other team was able to up to that point. Inconsistency in officiating was a problem because of the need to clear the

Yeah because of that year they had Chris Pronger, who is a godamn legend. He basically willed the Flyers to the cup finals in 2010 and got them within 2 games of beating that juggernaut Hawks team.

Wow, that was a really poor choice for a song to play in such a situation.

I laughed out loud at my desk.

The hashtag #IBackTheBirds is also pretty bad. It could be misconstrued for one of the many other professional bird teams such as the Eagles, Falcons, Cardinals, Hawks, Blue Jays, or Cardinals.

KingKrooked? More like KingDouchebag.

And he’ll start 0-4 with them before his knee literally disintegrates into thin air.

Cherry picking isolated incidents perpetrated by a tiny fraction of the fan base allows you to conclude that all Philly fans are terrible. Got it.

Sounds like OCD.

Fair enough, I suppose you didn’t. Most DS comments do.

That’s right. As a next level Philadelphian, I’ve actually crafted a battery sling shot of sorts. Get up in my face and I’ll sling one right at your dome. First one will be a AAA warning shot. Bring me to rage again, and I’ll let a D fly.

I appreciate the explanation. It makes me feel better that the man paid to know these rules apparently didn’t understand this either, nor did the professional baseball commentators.

Then why does the rule JRA posted say “with first, first and second,” instead of just first and second? I think that’s where my confusion is stemming from. That language makes it sound like the rule does apply with only one man on first.

This reminds me of that episode of the office where Michael drives his car into a lake because his GPS told him to.
