There’s a strong scent of nihilism in the current air. Also, people aren’t offered solutions to the many looming and ongoing crises (or rather ones where they don’t have to move out of their comfort zone), so a win for them becomes less about improving the future and more about making it worse for the people they hate.

I think it’s fair to say that Lance Stroll has more talent as an F1 driver than Bradley does as an “automotive journalist”.
