Bird nerd nitpick here. Those are not turkey vultures, which have red heads. They are black vultures, which is a different kind of vulture, not just a description of the birds’ feathers’ coloring. The body of the Post article properly identifies them as black vultures, but one of the photo captions misidentifies them
