I remember the announcers asking if maybe the Knicks thought they were drafting Rolando Blackman. Ha!

Also used in the context of the old-timey Olympic events the standing long jump, standing high jump, and standing triple jump.

I think of a standard Reuben as being corned beef. I’ve seen Rachel refer to both pastrami or turkey subbing for the corned beef (and slaw for the sauerkraut, which totally undermines the sandwich IMO). I think the pastrami Reuben is best.

I’d call it “The Lazy Reuben.”

Indiana: one of the few states that can truthfully said to be improved by introducing some New Jersey into the mix.

This is very close to my recipe. I add finely diced bell pepper (both red and green are good), use actual mayo instead of veganaise (though only a bit), always capers instead of dill relish, and a squirt of sriracha. Red onion is preferable if you have it. I like it best as an open-faced melt on sourdough topped with t

That’s just salad dressing right? Sounds almost exactly like the ingredients for my go-to easy salad dressing (though I usually only two of the three vinegar varieties you mention and I add a tiny bit of maple syrup).

So, it should appeal to just under 3/4 of the US population then?

Yup. The modern successes that seem to defy logic (Trump, etc.) actually make perfect sense when you understand the true logic of the systems in which they operate.

A victim cannot stipulate to the criminal guilt of another party. Obviously, almost any settlement will state that the settling party admits no responsibility, but it can’t legally “absolve” him of anything other his civil liability to the other party.

Can’t say I see it. The missed bunny is obviously notable, but otherwise these are just a couple unremarkable turnovers and missed threes off of effective drive-and-kicks.

It’s not illegal to take multiple steps between dribbles. His dribble is still alive until his right foot lands just outside the three point line, which makes that his gather step. He then takes two steps to the basket.
And if that is a palming violation, then there are 50 uncalled palming violations every game. Have

100% legal. I slow-dragged the video cursor, and he dribbles the ball just as he passes the “U” in Utah. The nest step, which ends with his right foot just outside the three-point line, is his “gather step.” He then takes two steps for the layup: first with his left foot in the key then jumping off of his right foot

Agreed. I still think it was a good gamble on New Orleans’ part, but I bet if they could do it over again they would hold onto Hield and the draft picks.

That or, more common I think, bar owners put some other very nice but actually available bourbon in there and sell it for $80 a pour.

Eagle Rare is my go-to straight drinker. A fantastic bourbon for ~$30. But it is nowhere near as good as Pappy. If you have a opportunity to get a bottle at retail, you should if you can afford it. But, again, Eagle Rare is an excellent choice for something you can find consistently.

You sound like you don’t really enjoy interacting with people, like as a general proposition.

Cranberry sauce is good, but I prefer cranberry relish. 1 bag of cranberries, 1 whole orange (incl. peel), 1/2 to 1 cup sugar depending on taste. Throw it all in the food processor and you’re done. Gives a fresh zing that helps lift what can be an otherwise very heavy meal. It’s also fantastic to spread on leftover

Hmm. Never experienced that variety. I’ll have to keep an eye out.

You’ve never had fried pickles? They’re good shit, man. I’m a fan of the spears over the chips, but both are tasty.
