Yeah, I mean, if you smoke daily, an ounce might last you, what a couple of weeks more or less

True. But if you’re flying within CA or to OR, WA, CO, etc., then this is a helpful policy.

So . . . many people are terrible, pretty much?

So, maybe, leave out the zucchini then, to suit your super tastebuds?

The list of NFL players who can effect and ultimately decide a game in such individual fashion isn’t long.

The lack of technology (other than instant replay) to help aid in refereeing major pro sports is baffling to me. We do not need to rely on human judgment to determine things like whether a baseball was over home plate or a basketball within the cylinder.

But it says you have to violently throw him down AND land on him with most of his body weight for it to be a penalty. So this wouldn’t fall under that rule and should only be penalized if it qualifies for unnecessary roughness (or some other penalty I’m not aware of), right?

Have you never seen a magician like this before? They’re very good and fool lots of people who are not in on the tricks.

Yeah, but they traded him to the Suns, so . . .

Are you saying the shirt is “obscene or indecent” and that the ushers were right in making her cover it up?

What is the point you are trying to make, as it pertains to my discussion with the OP? Are you saying that we shouldn’t devote media attention and public resources to combat the crisis of thousands of people dying and millions more suffering from opioids? That it isn’t really a major problem? That it is only actually

I don’t know, man. I live in Appalachia, where the vast majority of the coverage centers on poor areas. I see lots of news items and feature stories, and it’s a big issue in state politics, and none of that coverage has focused on well-off white kids.

Gotcha. I guess what I’m saying is I don’t think the media coverage is “disproportionate” to the level of concern necessary, which seems to be what you’re saying about hazing. It’s fucking tragic, as your story corroborates, and should be treated as such by the media. I’ve lost three friends from high school/college

Ah Malört, the drink that hipsters love to pretend they enjoy.

The world was changing, and the whale was getting bigger...So you see, the whale was like industry, in that they were both lost at sea and nobody, especially the forklift, “society”, knew where to find them. Except that the whale was a cetacean, but the industry my friends, that was a revolution.

Like the opioid epidemic, it gets a lot of play because it’s happening to well off white people.

Repeating my response to an earlier commenter:

Not exactly. The mercaptan added to gas is isopropyl mercaptan, while the mercaptan you find in beer “skunked” by exposure to light is prenyl mercaptan (3-Methyl-2-butene-1-thiol). Close cousins, but different compounds with different odors/tastes. Also, certain anaerobic bacteria introduced in the brewing process can

Yes. The burning chemical aspect of the smell doesn’t really come through when you just get that highway whiff. As a lover of both hops and good weed, I actually really enjoy a faint skunk smell, but up close that shit is wretched.

You try the Sierra Nevada Nooner? Pretty low on hops, nice and easy drinking and can generally be had for ~$8 a sixer.
