Never knew I was doing this before. I've always use the thinking hard on a problem, then taking a shower or going for a drive (before gas got expensive) method.

Churl: some kind of chicken-squirrel

"I seem to recall Microsoft having to bail them out even AFTER Jobs came on board. " I remember that was the ending scene of "The Pirates of Silicon Valley."

"Also consider that if Amazon gave each developer 20% of their asking price for each of the free apps of the day, they would be losing an incredible amount of money. "

I see a lot of those machines too. But generally that's an issue with people still using IE8 on WinXP. Nothing much you can do about human stupidity.

Strange if I turn my head a bit I see Monroe, if I'm level and straight I see Einstein.

That's what I thought when I was at the Microsoft Store. I have a two-year old Toshiba that has a brighter and less pixelated screen. I thought I was imagining things or maybe that display unit was bad because all the reviews that I saw never mentioned the terrible R835 screen.

I love the Gunship series. In Gunship 2000, I became a one man wrecking machine even on the hardest level. I always outfitted my chopper with mostly rockets since I can usually sneak up on a target, so I didn't need the guided stuff.

oh you're serious. I thought there was going to be some link to a spam site or a get rich quick scheme.

I thought it was:

except for the tanks, that's the plot to Ender's Game.

$30 for 4 movies is almost the same price as Costco for 4 movie tickets.

Lenny did contribute something good to humanity....Zoe Kravitz. She's hot. For those too lazy to Google, she's "Angel" from X-Men: First Class.

They didn't exact present a clear reason just that crime increased in cities in step with the introduction of TV transmission in those cities. Theories include TV caused negligent parenting, lack of social interaction at young age, and/or jealousy of the "perfect family" on TV.

@Sugoi: In Super Freaknomics, it was the introduction of TV that caused an increase in crime.
