Probably not. The MBA11 runs very cool, we have one here in the office and it runs about as cool as an iPad. Of course, we're not running Photoshop or encoding videos on it.

@saulpimpson: I never did finish Duke Nukem 3D. The fake 3D made me sick after 15 minutes. I think I made it to spacecraft level with the homage to Star Trek in the hidden room.

Can we all pool a little money together for that man to get a better computer? How old is that thing? Looks like it's an IBM XT system. I'm aware that's probably not his main computer just the computer for controlling the machining. But still that thing is ancient.

Which one do you have? My girlfriend's 2009 Macbook is still doing about 4 1/2 hrs on her regular usage. And my 2009 Toshiba is still doing about 2 1/2 hrs with BatteryBar reporting 0% wear. I probably go on battery 2-3 times/week.

Define "fairly extensive". Anything less than 1TB of divx/xvid videos isn't extensive.
