That's a really good point, and probably one of the most effective policy-based changes in attitudes you can try to implement. Making homophobia, rape, misogyny unacceptable, espcially starting at a really young age, might prevent some of the "But it's just a joke!" or "You're too sensitive, we've always said this!"…
