Steamworld Dig is definitely worth all the nice people’s love. I think I have it on every possible platform at this point. Just love that whole series so much. I keep meaning to try Night in the Woods, but what if you aren’t in your 20s and have definitely resolved how much you hated your hometown? Would older cranky

The premise of these kind of articles always involves some level of obtuseness from the writer, as if they are incapable of understanding why people might root or cheer for something, anything really. It’s a pretty basic emotion and feeling, and one has to go out of there way to claim they don’t understand this basic

Well, see, because this is a 2-3 hour game of actual playing. Not a 2-3 hour game of watching things happen around you for the service of a narrative. Had it been that, length would not be a point of complaint.

Shep, any discount codes for pitchforks on Amazon? I can’t find mine.

counterpoint: you should buy a switch

Switch Syndrome: when you struggle to find motivation to play a game, because the copy you own is on a home console/PC, when deep down you’d rather be playing it on the Switch instead.

I wonder if part of it is also gamers getting older and having less time for difficult games?

He isn’t violating anything on the person’s computer.
You could just force close the game and remove the mod to get rid of the license loop.
There isn’t anything particularly malicious about it or destructive.

Going to add, for no other reason than I didn’t have a PlayStation and had to deal with what was offered, Winback. Also possibly Space Station Silicon Valley (with it’s clearly GTA influence gameplay), Body Harvest, and Blast Corps. Throw in Castlevania for shit and giggles. If we add Sin and Punishment, why not

As long as we’re being pie-in-the-sky, why leave out Star Wars: Rogue Squadron? Okay, so it’s not as good as Rebel Assault, but few things are.

Considering we’ve seen the Omniking obliterate an entire timeline, an angel summoning a healthy baby out of her mother isn’t that much of a shock.

I’m more surprised at people’s reaction it haha.

Considering Sapkowski’s disdain for the games, and previous comments, the headline seems a little misleading. He got paid upfront, and even demanded a lump sum instead of being cut in on the backend.

This isn’t someone being screwed over, this is someone being shortsighted and pigheaded.

Counter-point: No it isn’t. This is a reasonable repercussion.

I would like to remind everyone that this is not censorship and that Playtonic as a private business has the right to express itself as they see fit. If they do not wish to include voice work by a controversial figure in their video game that is well within their right. Jon’s free speech was not violated in any way

She sounds so much like Sombra to me that I have trouble telling them apart. If there’s a lot going on, I can only hear the timbre and not their accents.

Not only is this despicable, it’s testament to how ignorant and stupid these cretins are. Bad animation can be the result of slow tools, unfriendly tech, limited staff resources, and countless other factors (including but not limited to the fact that getting human faces to feel “human” is really friggin’ hard). That’s

Wow do I hate gamers like this. I know there are bad apples in every kind of hobby/fandom/whatever, but man oh man is this particular brand of bullshit getting way too common for my liking.
