“I’ve found myself wondering if it will affect my DLC future with Yen”
Ahhh, that was it! I kept having that issue at the aquarium I work at today. And then I went home and tried to play 1-2 Switch with my goldfish, same thing! Went to my bedroom, though...and it also happened, because that’s where my wi-fi was.
Is not that simple: The exhaust port would could end partially blocked by the table; Joy-cons would need to be slid in the reverse direction (up-to-top) so it can be done on the dock, but it would require these to be detached from the console before going into Tabletop mode; And finally, detaching the Switch from the…
My experience with the Switch is a little different than Kirk’s because I’ve been playing it primarily as a portable. That’s the thing with the Switch. If you use it primarily on your TV, you’ll have one experience. If you play it on the go or at least away from the TV, you may have a very different one.
I don’t really agree. The first year’s release schedule seems pretty decent to me. I never had a Wii U, so I’ll get to play Splatoon, Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey, Arms, Snipperclips, Yooka-Laylee, and more. I’m fine with a few months of sparse game releases because I realize this is a new console and am prepared to deal…
I respect your opinion, but I find it interesting that there are those that can’t get past an art style of a game. Did you pass on WW because of the cell shading? The gameplay is fantastic and the WiiU version helped with shortening the monotonous sailing. It was definitely an extremely different design choice when it…
So I have a question for you Kirk. If this had been marketed not as the next Nintendo home console, but instead as a handheld console you could hook up to your TV, would your opinion have changed at all? Because while it may be true that a lot of these things will be changed in future updates, there’s a lot that I…
I still rank the Wii U as the greatest console of all time.
I started playing Horizon yesterday and it made me want a Switch even more because in a perfect world I would’ve been able to bring that game with me to play it more on the bus and my lunch break and surreptitiously at my desk. Okay maybe Switch will get me fired.
Yes Conquest is a perfectly fine game. My only real problem with it is Corrin, who like I said is just kind of a soggy piece of bread the entire time. But I really like all the Nohr kids and their retainers. The gameplay is way more challenging. If you like Conquest you will like Revelations.
because this is the internet and it has to find fault in everything.
The one I’m actually the most surprised by is them not having a DS VC on 3DS. They’ve released one game so far on My Nintendo rewards, which was Warioware Touched. So that’s 1 digital DS title in the systems life span.
Also, do the joycons still connect wirelessly when used in handheld?
TL;DR people are outraged over other people’s lack of outrage?
The style and themes are sometimes similar to those in Scott Pilgrim, although the fantastical elements are very different. I’ve only played a few hours, but the weird stuff is more muted than in Scott Pilgrim and it’s also not a nerd culture riff-fest. It’s a “twentysomething returns from college to small…
I don’t really care one way or another about this, the only thing that strikes me about this is that I still don’t understand Paragons hero design.
They’re all just box art characters from graphics cards right? Is that the theme that links them all together?
Short answer; really good if you level him and upgrade him to get the sol skill. It goes villager to lvl 15 (or 30, if you want) then merc then hero.
Long answer; he is a good, but his kids are better. Marry him off to Nowi and watch Nah wreck the game with Galeforce/Sol/Lifetaker/Armsthrift along with aptitude to hit…
If you level him up, Donnel is an absolutely beast. He has a lot of growth potential. See this article for a detailed breakdown of how and why.
I use it on my 3DS and Vita to log in to guest wi-fi and agree to their terms. Not being able to do that on the Switch could be an issue; I planned on hitting Starbucks and playing a little Splatoon or Mario Kart on my lunch breaks. Hopefully they’ll get some sort of rudimentary web browser up soon.
