I agree Nintendo does things differently, in both good and bad ways. I hope they make it official soon but I’m sure the Switch will have at least the entire virtual console library that is available on the Wii U.

Pro controller is $70 and optional so the price isn’t that crazy. As for the rest, I think a good amount of games have been announced with more coming out so I guess it depends on what you like. For me Bomberman R, Mario Kart Deluxe, Arms, Splatoon 2 and a few indie games are also interesting. I’m also confident it

Thanks for the tips! I may just stick with trying Fates next because its easily accessible on the 3DS eshop but if I crave more I’ll definitely go back.

I’ve pre-ordered it because I love the concept and don’t want to miss out on all the future Nintendo games. I’m also confident that at the very least it will have Virtual Console and that you’ll likely be able to buy all the games that are currently on it, or at least the ones available on the Wii U. That’s enough for

I’ll keep it in mind for when I get through this one, thanks! Once I’m more comfortable with it I’ll play the “proper” way with permadeath hehe. I’d have nobody left if I would have started to play like that!

That’s what I gathered from some quick research. I had played the demo before but could not get into it. It took a few hours of the full game too but once I started figuring things out it got a lot more enjoyable!

For sure! My comment wasn’t meant as a complaint at all haha, thoroughly enjoying myself. This will also help tide me over until the Switch comes out :)

Well Nintendo got me to do what they were aiming for I guess. Never having played a Fire Emblem game before and only knowing some characters through Smash Bros I decided to give this app a shot.

Also true, they did show off their fancy parental controls app too so they could have used that to limit features.

Good luck with that! Hopefully you’ll find a career you can be more passionate about. Or at least that you end up working with good people, which can be just as important.

Hang in there! I’m still at the same job but looking to make a change this year, even if it won’t be as drastic as this guy but hopefully a better environment. If not then I will have to look into changing careers....

That I’m still ok with as Nintendo is very protective in that sense and it’s not the biggest deal. And an easy workaround is to just add random people I’d guess. The bigger issue is having to do it through the smartphone app.

Destiny dlc was objectively a higher price but also more content. My impression was that Deus Ex’s dlc was not worth the $10. Also, wasn’t it $15?

Shame, I just played through the last Deus Ex twice a couple of months ago. Played the new game + immediately after my first run since I enjoyed it so much. Was hoping to get a sequel since apparently the DLC has been disappointing and expensive.

I decided to re-play Ocarina of Time on the 3DS and realized that a great game plus nostalgia really gets me smiling and my mind off things. Threes might be my usual go to game but it wouldn’t engage me enough to keep my mind from wandering off to think about other stuff. I’d just end up playing without focusing on

All those non-answers make me think that they are at least considering some way to allow us to transfer past purchases or at least get some value out of them. Better than a resounding nope. That VC Direct needs to happen ASAP before we all go nuts!

Agree to wait and see! Although the fact that there have been quite a few VC releases lately makes me think that at the very least they’ll be playable on the Switch. Of course the bigger question is the issue of transferring past purchases which I’m not optimistic about...still holding on to hope though! Nintendo sure

I think I read that when it first came out! Not sure how deep I want to get into it but maybe one day I’ll give it a proper shot. At least that way my title screen might have a chance of having all its tiles shown!

Threes all day every day, on the train, on the subway, waiting for friends.....even though I’ve given up on getting past 1536. You’d think I’d be better at it given how much I play!

God I hope she’s right about the Switch being region free...don’t care too much about the other unconfirmed stuff. Though no friend codes would be nice. Hope they up their online stuff in general and get with the times. And hopefully Zelda at launch :)
