Looking at the ratings history, it actually surprises me how relatively successful Grey’s has still been in its teen years. But it looks like those numbers are sinking fast in recent years. I can’t imagine anyone tuning into this show anymore without any of the original main characters.

It blows my mind that this is from 1938. Cartoons from this era feel so ahead of their time.

As someone who loved the first Ice Age as a child, those sequels look pretty brutal to watch.

I don’t know whether to blame the audience or White himself for so much attention being driven to the death aspect of the show. It’s not a murder mystery show at all. Clues are not dropped that help you predict what the final outcome is going to be. If anything, it’s incredible how much that gimmick has helped a

How exciting that we’re getting both a Party Down and Community reunion next year, but I am definitely more concerned about the former pulling it off.

What’s interesting is that the show isn’t really a murder mystery, in the sense that it doesn’t drop clues that could help you predict the ending and who dies. One character goes out on an operatic note and that’s that, while the rest end up with a far more subdued conclusion. It’s really the music that changes how

Yeah, but I don’t think South Park has been that type of show for a long time.

I was about to write that Dahl was a political cartoonist before he wrote children’s books, but realized I was thinking of Dr. Seuss.

What about 1883? Is that worth checking out?

Well, it’s easy to watch now with the context that Harmon comes back as show runner the following season. In retrospect, it’s just 13 passable episodes you can binge through pretty quickly within a 100+ episode run.

I’m in the middle of rewatching Community for the first time since the movie was announced, and you definitely notice Chevy Chase’s role reduced by seasons 3 and 4. He has far less screen time and looks pretty disengaged for the most part. I think he started to lose interest after the writers leaned hard into his

Shoot. Too late to change it.

The original All Quiet on the Western Film film is very harrowing because it looks like actual WWI footage since it’s not that far removed from the era.

What exactly happened with Boardwalk Empire? That show seemed to have pretty ambitious long-term plans, because the massive time jump seemed to be a sign they were unprepared to end the story even by the fifth season. I’ve always considered going back to rewatch it since I really enjoy period pieces, but then I

I always loved that one Eddie Money song. I’m pretty sure the lyric went, “I’ve got two tickets to Ticket to Paradise!”

The Kinja Caffeine Spider

You’re taking me back to how long the wait was between Better Call Saul seasons.

This is a great excuse to reminisce on Scorsese’s past work in TV:

For any film buff who hasn’t watched it yet, I highly recommend The Last Movie Stars documentary that was just made about their marriage. Ethan Hawke does a pretty great job making a six-hour series very watchable throughout, even when it covers the low points in their careers. Plus, their careers just span over so

Taylor Swift is in this? I have seen multiple commercials and I didn’t even know that.
