Yeah, I don’t understand how seasons 5 and 6 get all the criticism on any new Community article when season 4 was clearly the show’s nadir without Harmon.

A lot of people complain about the show’s decline in its latter three seasons, but I attribute that more to behind-the-scenes issues (Harmon getting fired, Chase’s difficult behavior, Glover and Brown leaving, getting cancelled twice, transitioning to a failed streaming service) ruining its momentum rather than Harmon

I learned from listening to this interview that Sigourney Weaver is an incredibly well-spoken and thoughtful person, and this article’s headline is creating a lot of drama that really isn’t there at all when you listen to it. It’s just another disappointing example of the current state of clickbait journalism.

Is this article a chance to highlight how much I loved growing up on playing Humongous Entertainment games growing up? (Since the creator of Monkey Island also founded that company)

Whenever Chevy Chase looks at Selena Gomez, he always thinks, “That should have been me!”

I cannot believe the original Pinocchio film is over 80 years old. It’s just unbelievable to me how old some of these films are. Black-and-white films from that era are very much of their time, but there’s something about those animated Disney films and Looney Tunes shorts that have such a timeless quality to them.

I miss Better Call Saul...

I don’t even know how I’d recognize this show with the original five interns all basically out of the picture at this point.

You know what’s not being cancelled? Five more Game of Thrones spinoffs, I can tell ya that!

I’d like to think the decline of the latter three seasons had more to do with behind the scenes issues than Dan Harmon running out of great ideas. “#sixseasonsandamovie” is truly living up to its miraculous name.

Can’t believe it was two years ago already at the start of Covid when we were asking when this final season would ever see the light of day.

I think there’s a lot to like here. The original series burned a lot of its goodwill with the final season, but this felt like a return to form of the earlier dialogue-driven years. George Martin’s involvement makes an obvious difference.

There has been zero effort to market that Slippin’ Jimmy animated series, even during Better Call Saul airings. Goes to show how much faith they have in it.

Hey, the Game of Thrones spinoffs guide is that way.

I know someone who always skipped the Breaking Bad intro on their binge and just thought, “Really? That one?” Not only is it, like, less than 15 seconds, but it sets the mood so perfectly.

How many bands have this many hits and can essentially give all the credit for its success solely to one band member? Maybe Jeff Lynne and ELO come to mind.

Every time I see him act in anything now, I just think of Utz Chips.

I think the tone of those two episodes was a little thrown off by a different actor playing Jeff. Not that he didn’t give a good performance, but it didn’t give off the same tone the original Jeff actor established. Anyone they recasted was being thrown in a difficult position.

A friend of mine observed the episode she directed seemed to have a lot of Martin Scorsese influence in it. It’s a comparison I would have never thought of myself.
