He isn’t necessarily stealing the spotlight in this, but this sketch is hilarious:

All of these “House of the Dragon Week” articles are starting to work on me. I’m back on the Game of Thrones bandwagon, people. I will watch anything they throw my way, mainly because I don’t need to have high expectations anymore.

Can’t believe Clint Eastwood is 92 years old. I bet you he’s got some more films in him.

I don’t know how quickly they were planning on rolling out these spinoffs before Covid, but the long wait has sort of tempered my frustration with the way the original series ended. I don’t feel like there’s anything to lose since I don’t have high expectations anymore. With such high budgets, they should be fun at

Interesting. I guess if they’re gonna making this into a television franchise, they’re in a limbo state right now where they’re unsure how successful these spinoffs are going to be because of the reaction to the original series. So I guess the budget just can’t be a free-for-all right now.

That one sadly might have been a victim of Covid.

It’s tragic how expensive vinyl has become.

I think a key point is being missed when people criticize Gene’s behavior as going too far and feeling out of character. Similar to how rewatches of the whole show lead us to reassess characters like Kim, Howard, and Chuck, the reveal of what Kim told Jimmy in the phone booth leads us to reassess his motives in the

I think Chuck is a fascinating example of how basing your actions off the most rational endpoint in your personal logic can ironically bring out the worst in a person. No matter how justified your anger may be, sometimes it’s just easier to let go instead of influencing someone you don’t believe can change.

Covid delayed the filming of this season by nearly two years and Bob suffered a heart attack. They did the best they could given the circumstances. I am just grateful he lived to see the story through to the end. There’s an alternate universe where this script would have never seen its way to picture.

Wow. Never picked up on the fact they steadily degrade.

Jimmy doesn’t give serious answers to either Mike or Walter White about his regrets, but it’s important to note he’s the one that initiates the question in the first place. As long as he kept the mask of “Saul” on, he’d never gain the personal growth that he truly, deep down, wanted to seek.

One thing I’d point out about Gene’s behavior in the prior episodes: similar to how rewatches of the whole show lead us to reassess characters like Kim, Howard, and Chuck, the reveal of what Kim told Jimmy in the phone booth leads us to reassess his motive in these black-and-white episodes. “I think you should turn

“You never know with good behavior.” No matter how many wrong, selfish decisions one has made in their life, there is always room for growth. You have to accept the repercussions of your past, of course, but what solace comes out of any situation if you don’t see the opportunity for growth in it. Some people never

I have never watched this show beyond the pilot, yet read the comments every week for entertainment.

From a creative standpoint, I’m sure he genuinely wants to finish what he started, regardless of public opinion. I don’t see how you can build up such a vast universe and not want to give yourself personal closure.

Because their relationship got off on grifting. They both knew deep down there wasn’t any rhyme or reason to their motives to ruin Howard’s life. It just came out of a primeval need to keep the spark in their relationship alive.

Here’s my prediction:

Adam Scott and Scott Aukerman’s podcast is my desert island podcast. I get so much joy out of their absurdity and shared love of music.

If a show hasn’t really gone through a decline in quality at any point in its run, you know the series finale will at least be a valiant effort.
