Wait, wait, hold on. Is that what Protected speech/First Amendment rights mean? I thought it meant one can say horrible racist/sexist/homophobic stuff on TV/Facebook/twitter or IRL and not have to face any consequences.

I thought the only requirement for “hybrid” was the combination of electric and combustion motivating power. I’m curious who is the authority on what does/doesn’t get called a hybrid?

I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen Harris look and sound legitimately intimidated by a car.

I work in the EV industry as a design engineer too. I’ve been toying with the idea of making my purpose-built offroad truck (mostly rock-crawling) hybrid or electric powered once I get the overall suspension performance where I want.  This is deepening my want to do that.

He says “Immigrants”, but he means “Brown people”. Fairly common in right-wing circles.

I had an issue with that phrasing, too.

So the guy is originally from Australia, but is living in New Zealand and he’s out here railing against immigrants? It would be funny if it wasn’t so revolting.
