For a backmarker team for one race you could absolutely crowdfund a sponsorship if you got enough people involved. I don’t know current numbers but back in 2014 reddit raised $55k for a dogecoin-sponsored car. With inflation and whatnot I’m sure it’s more now, but I’d be shocked if it was in the 6 figures.

Their early stuff had a fair bit of doom metal in it, but they’ve been pushing in a sort of prog/psychedelic rock direction for a long time. They kick ass regardless though.
