That is standard on Carrera GT’s. They aren’t hubcaps but giant nuts for the center-lock wheels. The threading is a different direction on the left vs right side, so they color-coded the lock nuts

Those are call center lock wheel nuts. They are red on the drivers side and blue on the passenger side. Why you ask? Well on one side of the vehicle, the wheel nuts are right-hand thread (red), and on the other side, they are left-hand thread (blue). The colored them differently so you know which goes on which side.
