Those who were watching the live stream of the practice session were blessed to hear the insane screaming sound of this car hurling itself around one of the most difficult tracks on earth from a track camera view, this is the only video of that I can find though and it’s obviously not from a track camera.

As someone who has severe depression, this is great, but please also be smart about that specific help: look for things you know they need, not things you think might “help”.

Let me spew some advice about depression, at least from the POV of someone who has dealt with it for a while now. Just one point — I want to make it the Important One that also people don’t talk about.

When the plane engines are running they provide significantly more power to the electrical system to keep things toasty. The battery systems alone are not adequate in extreme temperatures to keep the planes warm while sitting on the tarmac.

This biggest issue here is the workers. Unless something has changed since the last time I flew, airlines aren’t loading baggage and prepping planes for departure at 30,000 feet.
Meanwhile, here in Kentucky, the governor is decrying America for getting soft when schools close for the cold. Another Kentucky official I can’t wait to vote against now that I live here.
