The dictionary definition you posted clearly states that the meaning of “violate” is “rape or sexually assault” when referred to a person.

I’m very conflicted about this anime. When it first came out I truly hated it. I thought it had a great premise which was completely ruined in the matter of a few episodes and I had to make an effort to watch the whole thing (I believe I skipped a few episodes as well).

Thing is, your non-native language sense needs to be refined, since he doesn’t even remotely sound like a “stereotypical black person from the neighbourhood as depicted by pop culture”. He just sounds British.

I was lucky enough to buy me a copy of Terranigma in English for about $15 some ten years ago. Had to sell it together together with most of my (relatively small) game collection a few years back. I’m not sure how much it’s worth now, but I think I made at least $100 out of that one game - it’s definitely among the

I wonder what the Italian news will say about this one, considering they’ve just called Assassin’s Creed Unity an ISIS attack simulator...

I mean, I don’t think she really has the power or authority to go around censoring stuff.

It is! :D It literally means “son(figlio) of(di) whore(puttana)”

Oh, I know you’re not joking! I’ve actually done that and made progress for a while, but I got a serious hit when she reappeared out of nowhere and fucked me up again. I guess I’ll just have to start from scratch! :)

You sound like someone who decided to have children and is now regretting that choice immensely. Has your kid deleted your game saves, too?

I really wish I hadn’t read this.

Nobody here seems to care about this horrifying conspiracy except for you though.

To be honest, I found “Your Name” exceptionally mediocre. I guess I just don’t like Makoto Shinkai’s stuff: his films always have a great premise, but then, as the story unfolds, they become quite boring and predictable. My major gripe is that he writes very uninteresting characters; the only ones I remotely cared

Fixed.
