All tools make it easier for people to do stuff, that isn't necessarily a bad thing, though I get what you're saying.

When I was asked that question for the job I'm currently in I just answered that it was nothing that related to the position for which I was interviewing :P Seemed to work well enough.

Reminds me of a photo I took with my Droid and a jewler's loupe.

Whoops, confused the names :P My mistake hid the spoiler from me, but I guess now I know!

Shark attacks aren't so frequent that I'd advocate their extinction :P

Hence the availability of self-defense weapons meant for use against other humans. I'm not sure what your point here really is...

Woah. I am instantly more excited for this movie and that weirds me out a little.

Kirk's father? ;)

I'd rather kill a member of an endangered species than die... None of these seem meant for use in hunting, only in self defense.

I tried drying my whites on a rack in my apartment. Two days later it was all still wet. I'm not saying this is universal, but some people can't live without some conveniences.

I lolled.

It... was a joke :P

My contact lenses render your test INVALID. A real test wouldn't be fooled by glasses or contact lenses!

Heavy metal armor is heavy? Woohoo for science!

And yet, can you call technical knowledge "talent"? When I first started taking photos I had no idea what they were. Now that I do it certainly helps, but I'm not even close to being where I'd like to be in my photography. For me, it is a skill that I'll have to learn by trying and trying until I suck a little bit

How old are your kids?

I figure that its really up to my kids themselves. I remember my twin brothers, when encountering an obstacle, would approach it differently. One would kind of just accept it while the other would try to climb over it (hard to do when you barely know how to walk). Its going to be quite an adventure...

That won't be a problem for me (so far as I can tell), it looks like I'm the one who will have to get over my fears and let my kids do stuff (once we're ready to have them).

+1 You just about summed up everything I was thinking.

Yeah, you learned that to get what you want you need to be willing to put up with a few scrapes and bruises ;) That's a way better lesson than "Wait till someone tells you you're ready."
