Finally Doom Patrol is back! People were getting worried that these final episodes would never air. I think these episodes were finished well over a year ago as I remember seeing the series finale episode title last fall.

If not for Will Ferrell, the Dodge Stratus would have been completely forgotten. 

Bloomington-Normal really is in the central part of central Illinois. Peoria is 45 minutes west, Champaign-Urbana is 45 minutes east, Springfield is a little over an hour southwest and Decatur is an hour south. If you’re really crazy, Kankakee and Joliet are about an hour and half away. 

Was the original remembered that fondly? It only aired for four seasons with mediocre ratings. It only had 88 episodes so it didn’t have the 100 episodes to reach syndication at the time so it really didn’t live on with repeats. Between the Denzel movie franchise and the Queen Latifah tv show, there are different Equilizer reboots going on at the same time. Does anyone else find that a little weird?

The reason why that Gran Turismo beat Barbie on Friday is that the studio counted all the money it made on previews the past two weeks in Friday’s tally. That’s pretty sneaky.

The only day that Gran Turismo beat Barbie was Friday which doesn’t bode well for Gran Turismo’s long term success at the box office. We will see a big drop off next weekend for it. Blue Beetle did better than I thought this weekend so maybe it can scratch out a halfway decent run.

You can get a ton of kitchen stuff for cheap at thrift stores. Most college kids aren’t cooking Michelin star meals so used equipment should be fine for them. 

Based on Blue Beetle’s box office performance, I wouldn’t hold my breath for a sequel.

I’m pretty sure that this was a storyline in the first or second season of Atlanta where Earn tried to beat Michael Vick in a foot race. Luckily for Earn, they only thing he hurt was his pride.

What is Dodge going to be without the Charger and Challenger? I know that they’re going to do some sort of EV muscle car, but I don’t think that’s going to appeal to their core audience. Even the Durango is pretty long in the tooth at this point and is due for a refresh soon as this generation came out in 2011.

With Riverdale and Nancy Drew both ending last night, it’s an end of an era for the CW. Gone are the high school and superhero shows and it’s place, lower tier sports and imported shows mostly from Canada. I probably won’t watch anything on it until Superman & Lois come back sometime next year and with the strikes…
