The Price is Right is losing all of their cheap cars for their pricing games!
I first played this in the late 90's when LucasArts used to release a whole bunch of their old games on CD relatively inexpensively. I think I got 6 or 7 games for $30.
Thank goodness that Custer’s Revenge is playable!
I suppose it depends if the emulator they’re using supports them. I’m guessing that they’re using an off the shelf emulator and not building their own.
It probably does dump the game into the RAM. As long as there is around 20MB of internal memory free, you can put just every 2600 and 7800 game including hacks and homebrew on the system.
I wonder if it can handle other controllers other than joystick and paddle controllers. There was a trackball controller released pretty late in its life, a keyboard and driving controllers that looked similar to the paddle controllers but could spin a full 360 degrees instead of the 270 degrees the paddle controllers…
It’s an end of an era at the CW tonight as both Nancy Drew and Riverdale end. I don’t think I’ll watch the CW again until Superman & Lois comes back sometime in 2024 which due to the strikes going on, might not be until summer 2024.
It’s slim pickings out there. It’s crazy to see old movies on iTunes that cost $5 to rent. Movies that are over 5 years old should be no more than $2-3 to rent.
Yes, but I believe that their number of kiosks is down from their peak of 10 years ago. They have transitioned to FAST and digital rentals/purchases like so many other companies. They were bought by the Chicken Soup For the Soul company last year.
I’m guessing that this dumps the ROM from the cartridge into memory and uses an emulator to play the game. The 256 MB of internal storage would be enough to have every single 2600 and most likely 7800 game fit on it depending on the free space (most 2600 games were 4 KB, but some were 64 KB with bank switching and…
With the Netflix mail service going away, the only place to rent or borrow movies anymore is Redbox or your local library unless you have one of the very few independent movie rental places by you.
I’m sorry that I missed it the first time, but here’s mine: the drive around the northwest side of Maui which includes Routes 30 and 340. People say that the Road to Hana is treacherous, but it’s got nothing on this stretch of road. Blind S curves, no guard rails with several hundred feet drops and single lane roads…
It’s going to be over a hundred degrees here on Thursday. Let’s slow down this pumpkin spice nonsense.
There used to be, but that feature was removed years ago. You can use this link:
I can’t wait to see Chopper murder some fools in live action!
It’s actually an adaptation of the old Nintendo game, Wrecking Crew. Dave Bautista is playing Mario and Jason Momoa is Luigi. Anthony Hopkins plays Foreman Spike.
I watched the first season of the Saved by the Bell reboot when it first aired. By the time I was ready to watch the second season, it got canceled so I didn’t bother.
The biggest mistake the CW ever made was not renewing their Netflix contract. It basically paid for all of their shows. The CW thought the revenue from HBO Max from their shows would make up the difference. It did not. If the CW renewed that contract, Warner and CBS probably don’t sell their stake in the network.…
