Made this Bobby Flay ragu a few weeks back with minor spice modifications and a few more chili flakes - turned 30 bucks worth of short ribs into shredded deliciousness. Used part of the leftovers to make a lasagna.

Ask Tom and/or Ray about replacing a water pump on a V6 Camry. A festival of labor charges!

Haven't ridden in one yet, so it will be interesting to see what's what. One bad thing - my buddy in a wheelchair can't use one. Getting a ride in this city if you're in a motorized chair is next to impossible.

So what do the Aussies get - Vauxhalls?

That's true - still, drunk in a Corolla with a slushbox you have a better chance of not getting into trouble.

Agree with all of that. I remember driving a ... C2? 911 from the '90s, not like a crazy person, not speeding but enthusiastically, and feeling that rear end start to step around in corners. Miatas you can fling around all day, same w/ the CRX Si I had. OTOH, some cars demand respect and an understanding of how

Watch this thing nearly break loose and squirm under braking:

I was thinking about Dunn as well. Don't get me wrong - anyone should be able to purchase any car they want. That said, it's true (I've been told) that the GT3 is a handful well before it reaches the limit. I don't know if Dunn had any driver training, but should the dealer or the manufacturer warn the purchaser when

Had a '97 Taurus SHO - one review said the spoiler on the trunk looked like it had been left there by mistake. True ...

Let us not forget the worst of the worst:

Imagine how much the value of May's Alfaab has plummeted.

Is it still the case over there that, as Clarkson pointed out, the resale value goes off a cliff Day One? Here in Manhattan it's cost prohibitive to keep a car, but I would certainly buy somethng 166 sized, BMW 3 series competitive if they sold it with a 6 speed gearbox.

I am generally careful when describing GOP politicians ... ignorant (Sarah Palin), willfully ignorant (John Boehner) and just plain dumber than a bag of hammers (Rick Perry). Why is this idiot on the national stage promoting anything?

If you haven't seen Bourdain's recent Parts Unknown on Detroit, watch it. He is not optimistic.

Oh, and I would likely halve the recipe and put it in 2 or 3 ramekins. But we'll see.

Thinking the same thing - I could do this with an $11 bottle of grenache and spices I have on hand, and NY cheddar is cheaper and just as delicious. Jolie K, please put up a thread next Sunday, and we can post our results.

This is not a decision I'll have to face, but I think I'd spend 95k on an M5, pick it up in der Fatherland, and spend 50k or so touring Europe.

Ferraris are red, yellow, or white once in a while. And I saw a blue 612 Scaglietti once that was very nice. Do not wrap them. It is an affront.

Why didn't GM just take the RWD fun stuff that was ready to go, slap Chevy badges on 'em, and put 'em on the market? Chevelle SS? Even Chevy GTO .... Would this Pontiac stuff have competed with anything in the current Chevy lineup?

Exactly - as Clarkson points out, the likes of Porsche, Lamborghini - they take out the radio, A/C, sound deadening, and even (as in the F40) the door latch, and charge you more. Much more.
