Well, I can’t say the front of it is ugly. It’s double ugly.
My biggest complaint is that the FAA was supposed to set a minimum seat pitch in 2018 and haven’t done anything about it in lessee—5 years! Here’s an article complaining about the delay in 2020:
Amen. The idea that “if you just have one bag, and it’s a rollaboard, you can put it in the overhead bin, but if it’s a backpack, you can’t, even though the backpack takes up less space in the bin” is just silly.
I must disagree with the “no personal item in overhead” suggestions. Sorry guys, if I’m flying with no carry on and only have a personal item, it sure as hell is going up there. Why should my one piece of luggage have to cramp my leg space while you don’t want to check in your luggage and opt for carry on? Everyone…
I don’t understand how anybody could feel entitled to tell others what to do with the seat/space they purchased and not feel like they’re being a prick.
I recline and I don’t feel bad at all. If we expect fat people to buy two seats next to each other, why shouldn’t I expect a tall person to buy a bulkhead seat or to purchase two tickets in front/behind each other..
Is this a power thing? Do you complain about other passengers instead of the airline companies because you think airlines have more rights to make you uncomfortable than your fellow passengers?
Airlines have been shrinking seat space and charging more for it, for years.
I don’t understand the hate for reclining a seat, outside of meal service. I’m reclining that thing so I can relax. Since a kid, the etiquette has been to go upright during meal service since you can’t really eat reclined anyway and so that the seat top isn’t in the face of the person behind you, blocking easy…
Without shame, I’m a use my recline, except during meal service person.
Lots of good ones in the comments.
If you don’t want me to recline, pay me. I paid for a seat that reclines. There are bulkhead seats you could’ve paid extra for.
“And no, passengers do NOT have a “right” to recline their seat.”
Counterpoint: why do I have to give up my very limited footroom with my backpack because everyone feels the need to carry on these MONSTER roller bags? Gate check the damn thing, it’s usually free.
Buy a seat where the one in front of you can’t recline then, or one at the head of the aisle.
Exactly! Most airplanes even offer seats where there isn’t reclining in front of them... but people don’t want to pay for them and then bitch when the person in front reclines.
Nah, fuck that. Pay for a seat where there isn’t a recline position in front of you if you don’t want someone reclining. For everyone else, they paid for a seat (except for those few) that reclines and should get to use it.
you and your family are also not special, and you will also survive. Sorry others don’t feel a burning desire to inconvenience themselves for your benefit. Pay to sit next to each other
Um, no. The seats recline. Deal with it.
Don’t crowd the baggage claim carousel! I know you’re eager to get your luggage - we all are. But crowding the carousel only makes it harder for the rest of us to spot our bag, only to have to push and shove our way through to actually get it.
