If you are already pre-approved, it doesn’t really add much inconvenience. The only inconvenient is getting those financing options before hand, which you’ve already done to ensure the dealer is offering a good financing package... right?

So, go with dealers just because? I’m a lot more loyal to my local credit union and/or bank, institutions I interact with on a near daily basis, than I am with a dealer—even the rare “good” dealer.  Seriously, if the dealer is offering the same financing package as you can find elsewhere, why go with it?  Not sure why…
