The Duesy Straight-8. Why? Straight-8's are cool as hell. Held some speed records at the Salt Flats and won a few Indy 500's as well as a French Grand Prix. Also--depending on the year--it had DOHC, and 4-valves. Also, according to wikipedia there was one variation that had desmo valves... don’t tell Ducati.
Not to shit on the Porsche, but sticking with your Chevy theme, the new LT6 is also insane: NA 5.5L, 670 hp @ 8,400, 460 lb-ft @ 6,300, and 8,600 red line is bonkers too.
I’m in NYS and they completely fucked it all up. I could be mis-remebering, but for a while you could get a “standard” license that was not RealID compliant, you could also get an “enhanced” version that would let you cross into Canada via land and water but was not RealID compliant, and you could also get a RealID…
Your local congressman can generally get you a rushed passport appointment within a couple days if you call their office and take advantage of their constituent services.
That’s the height to the floor of the bed. Not the height to the top of the bedside, where your armpit would hit. Also, bed walls seem to be getting thicker and thicker, also making this harder.
Bed sides being so tall you can’t reach over them and get something at the bottom of the bed. I don’t agree with most of the previous commenters sentiment, but this is infuriating about new trucks.
My brother had a 2016 that he bought new and recently got rid of. I was not at all impressed by the supposed “Toyota build quality.” The dash rattled worse than ‘80s era GM. The plastics were hard as hell and scratched easily. The infotainment system was garbage. And the damn thing got like 16mpg. For the size…
Here’s the thing. There are very valid reasons to challenge the Canadian government based on some very recent things—especially regarding their treatment of indigenous people. I certainly wouldn’t call Canada an “authoritarian state,” but I’m all for challenging all host nations to be better. I just think we should…
Now if we could ditch a couple more races held in authoritarian countries...
2m wide cars result in being further off the ideal line when passing (or attempting to) than if the cars were 1.5m wide. Plus, getting your 5m long car ahead of the other 5m car in a corner, to thus “own” the racing line is a large distance.
I don’t even like the current DRS system. I’m not like outraged over it, I just think it’s a bit gimmicky and artificial. This year there were clearly tracks were DRS was a bit overpowered. I feel like it would be far more beneficial to shrink the cars back down so there is more room to pass than giving weird…
With what driver though? Stroll certainly isn’t the worst driver on the grid, but it’s well accepted that he’s still a pay-for driver. I don’t think Alonso will be around in five years.
The Buick logo looks stupid, unrecognizable and cluttered without the circle. I call BS on this being a design choice, I say some low-level middle manager proposed it as a cost-savings idea which upper management fell in love with.
Probably, but even though I support the union far more than the rail companies, I wouldn’t be ok with that either. Basically, I don’t believe the government should have the power to do either (force the union or the companies to cave).
Sure would be nice if the US simply made electric motorcycles eligible for the same incentives as electric cars.
It’s mind boggling that he basically recognizes that these jobs/people are so important (it impacts millions) but that he doesn’t see the clear answer is to just give them what they want. What they are asking for doesn’t seem to ridiculous, especially when the corporate overlords have been making bank. They can afford…
I’ve got a totally unfounded guess that he might not of actually been able to, hence why he has chosen to step out. Again, just a total guess with no proof.
That, and somehow the strategy team is still there.
My wife has that one (or one that looks exactly the same , but blue) and it’s garbage. If you’ve got anything more than very light snow, the head pivots a lot when you don’t want it to (especially if you accidentally catch a edge) and it feels like it’s made of Chinesium.
