So I’m pretty iffy about folks taking a defunct publication and claiming it’s legacy as their own.

Well to the Academy, let me just say:

“As for Martin’s core cast of characters, well there was quite the real life beef that took place behind the cameras as well…after Cambell sued Lawrence for ‘repeated and escalating sexual harassment, sexual battery, verbal abuse and related threats’ in 1997”

Can the adaptive triggers be turned off? Maybe it’s just me but I actually don’t WANT that full immersion feel.

HA! No! Dude was yelling at teenagers during pointless cable award shows over a decade ago and a bunch of dipshits just rolled with it cause they really like Golddigger. Now he just drags tabloid traffic (which still counts as far as advertisers are concerned) along with him, so there’s literally no reason to cut him

And just to nip this one in the bud:

As people debate the likeness of a piece of wax from a 19th century art form in 2022, that’s really only popular as a drunken side stop during a Vegas trip, I am left to ponder the eternal question:

…you know that cutting off access through digital means is like, step 1 in cyber warfare right?

Agreed. The whole premise of the game implies that there’s a grand, epic backstory…that they never really flush out and it’s one of those things where the mystery box is more interesting than the stories they’d have to write to fill them could ever be.

I typically do this when I have a hardlight weapon, since I like how the disintegration effect feels extra sci-fi. That and of course the satisfaction of knowing that not even the ground will accept the bones of enemy now.

He drugged and raped a child, then ran to a country he couldn’t be extradited from to escape his sentencing. It’s not complicated.

Oh pretty much all of Hollywood did that for YEARS. Now they’re just pretending Polanski doesn’t exist until he kicks the bucket so that they can have a “deep look at the art vs the artist” while never having to address decades of trying to enable his return to Hollywood.

I mean, it seems like he also got to live rent free in Andrew’s head after this deal as well

And EA has a net value of about $42 Billion, and that’s only if they decided to do a direct sale with no profit.

Comparing this deal to the MS Activision one is like comparing the sale of In-and-Out to McDonalds.

Sony couldn’t afford EA. I’m actually wondering if they had to check the fee for a bounced check before making this purchase.

You might be on to something there. But he’s not a sports star, so let’s only let the guy do whatever he wants for another 10 years before we consider doing something about it instead of the “NBA special lifetime pass“

There’s nothing here that teenagers with $12 haven’t come up with. Which is good, because no grownass adult should eat, or be proud of eating any of it, unless the goal is to evacuate everything except for their teeth.

Oh yeah, no one who has the power those two do right now is going to be towing any line that isn’t their own, and there are literally no political consequences left to scare them that have not been used already, whereas Biden has a lot more image to lose if he can’t get the nomination he promised through.

Because they can?
