Nah, I've seen hopped up Honda break the tires loose when VTEC kicks in (yo!). This was usually because it was tuned too high but man it was fun tweaking them to solve it. Never owned one mind you but that VTEC really did seem effective.

You need to hear one of those Fiat on the road! The exhaust crackles, my god it sounds awesome! what you saw in the video up top is nothing compared to the party those things make on offramps and whatnot. Love following them! Only the Hobarth (?) really sounds good though.
Nah, turbos generally try to push the fuel back up through the injectors which is why fuel pressure is pushed upwards with boost lb for lb to maintain the base pressure overall on closed loop fuel systems. Not sure how the funky returnless stuff works exactly....
Shouldn't be happening either if it's tuned right! When throttle is let off and it goes into coast down someone still has the injectors firing which is NOT the way it should be done - injectors should be shutting off on coast down so no excess fuel goes through the engine. OEMs have done this forever and it saves fuel…
I beg to differ...
Actually it should be locked and alarmed else it won't shut down the electronics properly after about a week like it will when alarmed. I leave the window open a bit though and the key works fine for opening the door. However these cars do kill batteries and a decent tender is a must! Since the lighter is always…
Never seen one for the front but there's a wire to release the rear hatch at the driver's rear corner. Except most owners pull that out of reach to make access to thieves and mischievous jerks harder. Power applied through the lighter has worked for me multiple times...
Sooooo what's not mentioned here is how often this happens to 996. Without a battery tender you can become familiar with this process in as little as 2 weeks of not being driven. It's actually BETTER if you set the alarm because after a period of inactivity the car tries to shut down more electronics and stops…
How exactly is it hypocritical to expect the folks who are paid to for a job to do it right? FACT: cops DO lie. Why should asserting this mean he's no longer entitled to them doing their jobs? Perhaps if they did their jobs and didn't lie he wouldn't feel the urge to get the plate in the first place?
To be fair - some of the plates that people want to get are almost certain to offend nearly everyone everywhere! There has to be a line somewhere, I'm not sure that telling the truth about our fine officers, having witnessed it myself firsthand, is where that line should be drawn however...
I bought mine right when they were starting to become popular. It was a bit over $25K, bone stock and in mint condition overall. It was a 95 with a window sticker over $50K. It was maybe 2000 when I bought it, is have to look it up to be sure. There's a video out there of it at the drag strip with my handle after I'd…
Every time I see one for sale I see red thinking about the asshat that totaled mine and forced me to fight three years to get the insurance company to offer me more than $16K with a TON of work done to it. I have what's left of it still and it pains me to open the garage. The drivetrain will live again but not in a…
Nope sorry, that applied to JDM models, the USA model got better turbos, better cams, and larger injectors. They made more than 320 and btw that rating is crank. My car with VERY mild tweaks and stock everything made about 400 at the wheels. A few aftermarket bits and some tuning yielded about 600whp on pump, over 700…
Read the legal complaint, there was a previous run in at which time the defendant dared to ask if he was free to go. He wasn't, they called the dogs on him then and found nothing. They were watching for him having been embarrassed previously, been there suffered that and watched a cop lie in court too. I caught him at…

I think you've read that wrong. At least two finger probes, three enemas, AND a colonoscopy! Oh and they nuked his ass in the xrayaxhine a few times too but skipped the "less invasive" ct scan the Dr. offered....
That wasn't on demand, they forced a liquid into his rectum to the point he felt forced to expel it. This had to be the most humiliating thing ever and if he doesn't own this town when done and a hospital too there's something's wrong assuming this is all true... Hell even f he HAD drugs this was criminal!
He was pulled over previously for a cracked windshield. While being given grief by the cop he asked if he was free to go and the asshat decided to call in the drug dog who of course alerted. The car was searched and nothing found. Months later they pulled him again, called the dogs, claimed the dog alerted on the seat…
It's even better, the officer who stopped him didn't actually see the infraction but had it relayed to him by another officer...
Be sure to check out the legal filing. They had stopped him before and were apparently upset when he asked if he was free to go. Of course a drug dog was called in and "alerted" only to find nothing. This time around the dog also alerted and when nothing was found one of them opined that he apparently was "known to…
