I'm driving a 2006 TDI and it has been fueled with ULSD since day one, it requires it and every pump in my state on the East coast is stickered as such. Find me a gas engine car that can go 500 miles on a tank in the city that's near the size of my Jetta and I'll consider buying it. I can stretch over 600 miles on the

Not with the well built LED models you can't. You see the new ones use circuitry to step up the voltage and will eek every last amp out of it right up until the battery has nothing to give. At that point light falls off a cliff and you may not get ANY light at all. Cheap LED flashlights will just get dim, good ones

You need to understand the MPG difference. I regularly top 500 miles on a tank and my costs per mile are only 10 cents. figure out what your gasser is costing you and I bet it's more - likely significantly more. I had a friend who drove a Pathfinder, she bought a TDI Jetta and the savings in gas per month was enough

A3 uses a DSG automatic - that's real gears and two clutches. Same as the Jetta TDI that I drive. It sometimes makes poor shift decisions but overall it's way better than a true slushbox.

Perhaps if one of the other companies had ponied up the cash that might have occurred...

Except it wasn't....

HybridZ.org has all the info you could want :-)

OnStar doesn't record you wherever you go, it's not a constant communications type of device. If it were the volume of data on everyone driving would be huge and the privacy lawsuits would put GM out of business.

Hrm, for overheating? They likely let it idle for an hour or three trying to get it to overheat - and thus killed the MPG. they also probably took it out, stood on the gas, and held the brakes trying to load it. At least they could have, most new cars now kill the gas if you do that because OMG it could be "unintended

I like them well enough I've got a 2JZ-GTE instead about to be dropped into a 240Z. R230 rear with 300ZXTT LSD and an Armada housing with 3.08ish gears to go with the 6spd out of the Supra. Tire height remains the same so gearing is all good. Drivetrain hit high 10s in the Supra on a pump gas tune and this will be

You think something essentially stock is going to hit 300km/h? Seriously? With the HP deficit even if it could hit that speed the car it was chasing would be loooong gone.

Who's making millions? lol

I did notice that my ice was clearer when I installed a reverse osmosis filter setup that also fed my ice maker. Sadly that only lasted a little while and the ice is cloudy but filtering it does seem to have some merit.

I seem to recall a few M3 engines popping due to bearing issues. BMW denying the problem, and more than one owner having to replace the motor at their own cost until BMW recognized the issue. You know there's a problem when you're M3 is towed into the dealer and there's a waiting list for engines....

Let me guess, DSG for the TDI and no stick right? I have a Jetta now with a DSG and would've moved up to an A3 TDI with sport suspension, HID, and the works IF Audi would sell it to me with a stick! They won't, I keep driving my VW...

It's possible to do electronic voting such that it can be checked, say online through a connection not directly attributed to you, and be verified. But it's not, they don't give receipts and they don't give the ability to double check the recorded vote. In other countries electronic voting HAS been used to skew

Unless you walk away with a paper receipt that you can later check with the system to make sure it recorded correctly NO you do not have any documentation that can be checked. Yes, such a system could be done - and isn't.

Bicyclists can take an entire lane where I live - legally - likely the same for your area too. Often it's better to ride more towards the center so as to be seen and have less chance of being by someone asleep but idiots who don't know the laws tend to try and run you over - seriously. I don't think single file is
