Winter beater....if anything, you could put some snow tires on. I guess I don’t know what rubber these have on them OEM, but given how porky they are, I think you’d largely be fine.

1) my horn works
2) there’s a good chance the khazak “we sell salvage title vehicles” guys never replaced the airbag when fixing the damage on my daily, given some of their other “fixes” I’ve discovered over time...

It still definitely looks “so cute!” to me, and this is coming from a guy that owned (and liked the appearance of) an RSX Type-S at one point.
I think people that like the TT as a “looker” are a certain niche type of people - like people that see the rear of a Volvo C30 and still say “Oh, that car looks SWEET!”. The TT always looked way more like a slightly massaged beetle to me than, say, a 911.
Hell, even S2000s were around 2850lbs I believe.
