youd be surprised...

I’ve actually seen a couple dozen around the bay so they’re definitely out there. But outside the bay area, maybe only 2 or 3.

would it be ok for the local government to just erect a wall around their property and say “border is closed”?

“No highs, no lows... must be Bose...”

I had an E28 of this type. had 262k miles. My mechanic took the heads off to inspect because of the mileage and told me that everything basically looked new. These engines are so under-stressed, I think even 275k miles isn’t really out of the question with good maintenance. Plus, 5er drivers tend not to abuse them,

I live in the East Bay, worked in SF for years (South Bay too). I actually thought the light shows were quite the draw.  Especially what they did around Christmas time.  Brought my kids to watch.  So here’s my one and only fuck given.

Im pretty certain that serving this car requires flying technicians and gear out to your location as needed...

It’s not salvage title that scares me, it’s the fact that $6700 is kind of a lot for a beater.  because this isn’t a car that I ever lusted after, even though I owned one a while back.

I think my 911 is like that too.  I’ll have to go drive it today and check...

why not get a newer xB? you already love the one you have, it rides way nicer than the first one, has more room, has more power, more amenities, and you can find a really nice one for less than $15k. buy a nicer set of rims and tires for $1000 and a new radio for infotainment/navigation for $500 and you’re still well

The ones in my 997 are some of the best I’ve ever had. adjustable diameter, fairly strong looking arms, folds into the dash when not in use. even the panel that hides the cup holders can close again once the cup holders are deployed. pretty nifty.

I was getting a Mitsubishi Starion vibe from the front and MG-F (?) at the rear

that’s what I thought when I saw an F12 in Paris...

does anyone really give that much of a shit how their commuter looks?  Who cares if everyone thought I was a boy racer. I’d leave everything as is and rock it.

Should someone tell him :)

maybe they just replaced solenoids but not the rest of it.

wouldn’t all that work make this a $6000 car? in which case, definitely no dice.  Just the way it is, it’s a $4500 commuter car with decent hp and creature comforts.  gas mileage probably isn’t great for a commuter though.

I actually liked this generation, but mostly for the fact you could get a spacious 190hp sedan with 30 mpg combined.  I wouldn’t be able to live without carplay though so I never seriously considered buying one used.

i thought the hybrids had 190hp.  what’s up with the 162 number here?

Isn’t that going to be... heavy?
